Situated a few minutes stroll away from the quaint Riverside Village of Horning, can be found Fishers Quay.The Cottage, with ample parking for 2 Cars, is 3 Stories High, and contains 3 en-suite Bedrooms. On the first Floor is a Glass fronted Balcony, equipped with Table and Chairs, and a panoramic view over the River, and the dozens of Boats moored nearby.
Beneath this is a Terrace, also with Table and Chairs, which leads on to a Jetty, from which Fishing is extremely popular. This is also a lovely area on which you can have a Barbecue.
The Village of Horning, a short stroll from the cottage, is one of the quaintest, prettiest villages in England and it becomes even more special, with it’s location right along side the River Bure. The river is always full of activity, and there are 3 large riverside Pubs to enjoy it from.
What makes Fishers Quay Special…
Being on the edge of the Water, with ever changing quite gorgeous views,and our own River Frontage was what appealed to us most. Others apparently share that view, as we find many of our rental Clients, come back for their Holidays, year after year here. We also like that the Ferry Inn restaurant Restaurant and Pub is a 3 minute walk away. No Drink/Driving issues there !
The Accommodation comprises of:
The Ground Floor: The ground floor has the first of Three en-suite Bedrooms, this one fitted with a Double Bed, and enjoying a Panoramic view down the River. The Bath room contains a Shower cubicle, Wash Basin and Toilet. Also on the Ground Floor is a small room which leads to the Terrace, and in here is a Foldaway Bed, should an extra Guest need to be accommodated.
First Floor: The First Floor houses the Kitchen, Dining Area, and Lounge. The kitchen is fully fitted with,4 ring Hob, Full oven and Grill, Fridge/Freezer,Dish Washer, Microwave,Electric Kettle and Toaster, and plentiful pots/pans,cutlery/crockery and Glass Ware. In the Dining Area is a Table and 6 Chairs.
The comfortable Lounge, has 2 Leather Settees, a reclining Chair with Foot Rest,and a 32 inch Flat Screen TV with all Free to view Channels,; and a DVD player. The Lounge then leads on to the Balcony,which is very safe for Children.
Also on this floor is a Wash room, with Toilet and Basin.
Upstairs, the Top floor contains the other 2 En-Suite Bedrooms, one with a Queen Size Double Bed, the other with 2 Single Beds. Both these rooms have a Bath with proper Shower Screens, as well as Toilet and Wash Basin. The views from the Master Bedroom are stunning, looking down the River.

THINGS TO DO
Fisher’s Quay is situated in the exclusive Ferry Marina area of Horning. From it’s private jetty is reached, at the end of a short cut, the River Bure, which is Central to cruising the northern half of the Norfolk Broads.
Within a few yards of the house are a stunning restaurant/Pub fronting on to the river, and even closer a Leisure Centre with swimming pool, laundrette facilities and Cafe along with the best Fish and Chip Shop in the area.
The village of Horning is quaint, old fashioned and beautiful. The stroll from the house to the village is easy and many shops are found there, including a General Store/Newsagent, Delicatessen, Butchers, Post Office, and 3 Gift Shops.
The Village has a total of six restaurants, three of which, with their Pubs are situated right on the River . Only 3 miles away, is the ‘Broads Capital’ of Wroxham, a thriving town which includes amongst many other shops a large Supermarket and Department store.
The city of Norwich is 8 miles away, and is one of the most beautiful cities in England, A great place to shop,eat and drink, and contains several Theaters.
Only 1 mile from the house is a theme park called Bewilderwood which is heaven for small children, and actually, everyone. Two miles further on is Wroxham Barns, a popular Boutique shopping and Entertainment Area
For Walking and Cycling enthusiasts there are plenty of lovely areas around local Broads to discover
For more excitement Great Yarmouth with all a major seaside resort has to offer, is only 13 miles away. Other places of interest in the area include the stunning North Coast of Norfolk, with quaint villages, lovely beaches and many interesting walks and drives.
